Here are the mostly frequently-asked questions we receive, and the answers. Q: Is this a company-owned site?

Q: Why doesn't the company provide a site like this?
A: There are several good reasons. They include…
- Companies manufacture and market products. They don't sell those products. (Marketing is NOT just another name for selling. They're very different things. Get free Insight Reports.) They outsource the selling operations to their independent distributors — and those distributors can sponsor more distributors to add leverage to their sales results and boost their earnings. So most companies have little or no experience or expertise in selling and sponsoring. Even company founders and executives who were previously successful leaders and distributors are no longer involved in the rapidly changing environment that grassroots distributors have to work in.
The people who have real expertise in selling, sponsoring and building businesses are experienced distributors and professional trainers — especially those who are BOTH: professional sales and sponsoring trainers who are also distributors and leaders with the same company as you… Flantech!
- When companies lose their focus (manufacturing and marketing products), problems always arise in other areas of their business. And their lack of expertise and experience in selling and sponsoring tends to confuse and mislead inexperienced distributors, who think that the company knows what it's doing and usually follow its advice. This is one of the main reasons why out-of-date, deceptive, manipulative, self-defeating selling techniques continue to be used by distributors. (The other main reason is upline leaders who don't know any better and want the biggest, fastest results for themselves.)
- When company training doesn't produce the expected results for distributors, it eventually breeds resentment and doubt in the company amongst the distributor network.
Q: Why offer such high quality, exclusive training and support to ALL Flantech distributors? Why don't you limit it to just your own downline team members? What's in it for YOU to do this? 
A: A lot of people find it hard to understand our philosophy because it's so unusual, especially in business. The easiest way to learn about it is to read John's FREE ebook, "The Fourth Generation Path to Freedom — a Business Manifesto for the Twenty-first Century". (Click here to download.) Most people find it refreshing — even inspiring.
Basically, we refuse to accept anything but Win-Win as our method of doing business. So that means collaboration and co-operation — working together to produce results for everyone involved that are far greater than any other approach. The usual dog-eat-dog, Win-Lose approach in business is based on competition and fear-of-loss… the guaranteed formula for failure for the vast majority of people.
Yes, we could have kept all this exclusively for our own Flantech downline team (The Income Security Network) and used it to build the biggest and most successful distributor organization in Flantech But one of the principles we embrace is this: what's good for Flantech distributors in general is even better for our people in particular.
Other Flantech distributors and downline organizations are not our competitors. There are more than enough prospective customers and downline distributors for everyone in the network to be successful. So if we're united in purpose and action, we can prevail against distributor organizations from other MLM companies who treat us as competitors.
By offering our training and support programs, resources and systems to everyone in Flantech we make the Flantech opportunity more attractive to everyone, we keep costs low, we can provide even more resources for everyone's benefit and we ALL win, because everyone involved — the company, the full-time professionals and the part-timers who make up 90% of all network marketers — is focused and productive in their specific roles, with no time, money, energy or emotion wasted on unproductive, unprofitable nonsense like competing with each other. A unified network will always produce much greater results than a network that competes with itself.
Q: Why do I have to pay for membership of this program? Why isn't it free?
A: Let's turn that question around: whom do YOU think is going to provide this kind of unique, exclusive, copyrighted content and LIVE training, professional services, time and resources (including thousands of gigabytes of data transfer every month and pay staff salaries and overhead expenses), all tailored specifically to Flantech, to help YOU build YOUR business, at no cost to you and all other members?
WHY do you think they'd do that? Do they have more money than sense? Are they insane? Do they want to go broke?
(Or do they have another reason that they're not telling you? And what do you think that reason might be?)
Training of this quality and effectiveness normally costs more every MONTH than you'll pay for a whole YEAR (and that training isn't tailored to YOUR company, products and compensation plan). So why do you think you should pay NOTHING for it?
Is it because other companies provide training for nothing? If you honestly believe that's true, think again. Take a close look at how much they pay out in bonuses — and how much they secretly earn through BREAKAGE! (That's money they DON'T pay their distributors because their compensation plans are geared to KEEP that money. Learn about breakage here.) Those distributors pay for that "free" training through breakage, BIG-time, whether they attend or not — and it's company-provided training. (Re-read the previous answer if you think that's a good thing.)
Frankly, with that attitude, you should seriously re-think your decision to go into business — or change that attitude, fast.
Q: Why is John Counsel the best-qualified person to provide this training?
A: John has been involved with Flantech since 2001, first as a management consultant to create a new compensation plan, then a new name and corporate identity, and now as a network leader who resigned as a management consultant in order to join the distributor network because he was so impressed by the business opportunity and the company's commitment to its distributors.

Q: Can I leave the program at any time? Or am I committed to permanent membership every year?
A: In two words, yes and no. Here's the deal…
- We've deliberately set the annual fee so low so that it's affordable for anyone who is serious about building a Flantech business. You gain immediate access to the members-only resources on the site. These resources are being added to every month, so the value gets better and better.
- Very few people can build a successful, secure, long-term business in less than a year. Most people take much longer. So we decided to make it an ANNUAL membership so that you'd have our training and support for a whole year. If you choose to quit before then — which you're free to do — we sincerely believe that you're not giving yourself a fair chance of success. You need to give it a genuine try — and with our training and support, your chances of success are measurably better. If you change your mind, after quitting, then your membership is still valid for the period you paid for. (This change-of-heart happens more often than most people imagine.)
- Some people are basically parasites — freeloaders who want everything for nothing. So they join a program like this, download everything they can as soon as possible, then ask for a refund.
Sorry — that's not going to happen. This is a service-based program. No refunds are given. If you can't see the value and benefits of joining this program, then please don't join. But at least ask a few people who have enjoyed the benefits first. You'll be penalizing yourself if you don't. The very first session you spend with us will be worth many times more than the annual fee.
Q: Can I earn commissions or bonuses for referring my downline members to this program?
A: We don't pay commissions or bonuses for referrals for FOUR important reasons:
- We want to keep this program affordable for everyone — especially for new people looking to earn more income, not to spend more than they really need to.
- We have real issues with upline leaders earning commissions or bonuses from the sale of books, tools and training events to their downline teams. This practice, more than any other, has brought network marketing into widespread disrepute. There's only ONE reason for this practice: plain, old-fashioned g-r-e-e-d!
- We believe that upline leaders should benefit indirectly from recommending books, tools and training events, etc — through increased BONUS income they receive based on measurable improvements in downline sales and sponsoring that occurs as a result of those books, tools and training.
- We believe that the only valid reason why people should join us and stay with us is the quality and effectiveness of our content and presentation — and the measurable, profitable RESULTS they gain from what they learn here. In other words, it's OUR job to make it safer, easier, better and smarter for YOU to join us as a member — and remain a member — than not to join us, or to quit. It's that simple.
We also practice what we preach — at just US$1 per week for this world-class training and support, anyone can afford it, including our own downline team members. Our main income is from our Flantech businesses, not from providing this service.
